Jump to: Details | Procedures | Access Details | Contacts | Documents | Promo Codes ## The Village section of the Manager's Portal is where you set up how INS works with your village, your protocols, contacts, and access information. ### [Details](ANCHOR: Details) Your village's contact information and time zone, editable directly by the village. For any other detail changes, contact INS to update them on your behalf. ### [Procedures](ANCHOR: Procedures) What you want INS to do in different situations. Pull down the window in the bottom right corner to view your current procedures. Reorder with the arrows, add a new procedure with the plus button, delete with the trash can. Keep procedures as concise as possible so our nurses can act on them quickly. ***Note: contact details within a procedure are separate from the Contacts tab, if a procedure names a specific contact, make sure that person is also set up under Contacts.*** ### [Access Details](ANCHOR: Access Details) Information for emergency services on how to access your village, our nurses read this out to emergency services when needed. Fully editable, with the ability to add extra detail. ### [Contacts](ANCHOR: Contacts) Who INS should contact, and their role (village manager, maintenance, village nurse, etc.), set up by the village itself. Each contact can be set to receive notifications by email and/or SMS, and limited to a specific time window. Add, edit, or delete contacts as needed. #### Notification types include: - Emergency: e.g. INS initiated an emergency alarm for a resident and it's now been closed - Maintenance: e.g. a resident's AC isn't working, or a door isn't closing properly - Device Related: e.g. a faulty device - Automatic types (low battery, missed check-in, power fail): if no contact is selected for these, INS actions them between handling alarms, which can take 6-7 hours or longer. Adding a contact to auto notifications lets your team action these faster, since it bypasses that queue. ### [Documents](ANCHOR: Documents) Anything you'd like INS to have on file, such as a village map. We'd especially recommend an evacuation map, any resident with the LifeGuardian app will receive this on their phone during a drill, real or practice. ### [Promo Codes](ANCHOR: Promo Codes) Relates to the INS LifeGuardian® app. If your village is paying for the app on residents' behalf, generate a promo code and share it with them, using the code bypasses billing for that resident. ## Still need help?
