  • Personal Emergency Response by Nurses

    The LifeGuard SmartHome LGX  is a premiere medical alarm system with emergency response by healthcare professionals. Our Emergency Response Centre is staffed by highly qualified and experienced nurses and other healthcare professionals whose qualifications and clinical knowledge are far greater than the ‘first aid attendants’ commonly used in the industry.

  • Location Tracking

    The LifeGuard SmartHome LGX can be paired with our Mia BT4 pendent, a small wearable panic button that partners with our LifeGuard SmartMobile app for GPS location reporting and triggering alarms with just one button, whether you’re at home or out and about.

  • A TeleHealth System with optional Bluetooth Medical Device Pairing

    The LifeGuard SmartHome LGX is compatible with our range of Bluetooth medical devices, including blood glucose and blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeter, weight scales, and more.

  • Home Security Monitoring

    Can be used to monitor smoke detectors as well as infra-red security beams (PIRs), which provide home security by monitoring movement in and around your home. 


    With our optional Home Security Service, these security beams can trigger alarms to our Emergency Response Centre where a nurse will take action and even summon the police, if required.

  • Voice Control

    Compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa voice control to control home electronic devices, allowing people to use their voice to make their environment more suitable without lifting a finger.

  • DECT

    With the optional DECT, the LifeGuard SmartHome LGX can pair with voice extenders, talking pendants, call points, etc. that are placed around the home to create a safety net and added peace-of-mind.

  • Wi-Fi Enabled

    The LifeGuard SmartHome LGX can be connected to a Wi-Fi router, either as a back-up or alternative to any SIM connection for alarm delivery.

  • Safety & Inactivity Monitoring

    The LifeGuard SmartHome LGX can support wireless sensor devices, allowing users to add in smoke detectors, water leakage sensors, and gas sensors to monitor emergencies; and motion sensors, door contacts, and sensor pad transmitters for inactivity monitoring, to build a healthier, safer independent living.

  • Works with Pivotell® Advance Automatic Pill Dispenser

    Compatible with Pivotell® Advance Automatic Pill Dispenser, keeping pills secure, reminding users to take their medication, keep track of their medicine intake, and allow caregivers to monitor pill taking results / record and keep an eye on user’s medication.

  • Smart Home Automation

    Optional ZigBee, Z-Wave or Bluetooth automation devices incorporated into the LifeGuard SmartHome LGX create a smarter and safer home, by automatically turning lights on at night to decrease the chance of a fall, or automatically turn on the heater if there’s a sudden temperature drop.

  • Battery and System Status

    The battery level and the cellular signal strength are indicated through the white bar on the top cover. In addition, the current status of the system, for example, if it’s in learning or alarm reporting mode, is indicated by the LED backlight of the large HELP button. Users can easily identify the system status at any time for added peace of mind.

I used the INS emergency call system and within ten minutes of so, the ambulance was at my doorstep and I was treated on the spot and rushed to emergency. I would like to express my gratitude with your company INS LifeGuard. My parents both used your system and when my father suddenly passed away at home my mother pressed her pendant and the nurses at INS called emergency services and kept her calm throughout the whole process. Unfortunately, I had to use my mother’s pendant this year in January when I found my mother had also passed away. INS nurses called emergency services and their promptness allowed the ambos to arrive within minutes. The INS nurses kept in constant contact with me keeping me calm.
