Do I need a Samsung Watch to use INS LifeGuardian®?
You can use INS LifeGuardian® on your Android phone, but some features require a compatible Samsung or Wear OS smartwatch. Premium health monitoring features require a compatible smartwatch.
What is included in the Essential plan?
Essential includes 24/7 nurse-led emergency response, fall detection on compatible Samsung devices, GPS location support, safety check-ins, geofence alerts, compatible Wear OS smartwatch pairing, the companion app for carers and family, and access to the 24/7 nurse chat line.
What is included in the Premium plan?
Premium includes everything in Essential, plus nurse-led health monitoring through a compatible Samsung or Wear OS smartwatch. This includes heart rate tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, respiratory rate tracking, blood pressure monitoring via supported third-party devices, critical vital signs monitoring, health trend analysis, nursing reviews available on request, and detailed reports shareable with your GP or specialist on request."
Does fall detection work on all Android devices?
Fall detection depends on the device, watch model, compatibility, and settings. Users need a compatible Samsung or Wear OS device for this feature.
Can family or carers receive alerts?
Yes. Family and carers can stay connected through the free INS LifeGuardian® Connect companion app.
How do I speak with a nurse?
You can reach a nurse by pressing 'Get Help' on your phone or a compatible smartwatch. You'll also be connected automatically if a fall is detected when paired with a compatible Samsung Watch.
What happens when I press the help button?
Your alert is sent to INS LifeGuard’s 24/7 Emergency Response Centre, where a qualified nurse can assess the situation, provide support, and coordinate escalation if needed.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no lock-in contracts.
