You can use INS LifeGuardian® on your iPhone, but some features require a compatible Apple Watch. Premium health monitoring features require a compatible Apple Watch.
What is included in the Essential plan?
Essential includes 24/7 nurse-led emergency response, fall and crash detection on compatible Apple devices, GPS location support, safety check-ins, geofence alerts, optional compatible smartwatch pairing, the companion app for carers and family, and access to the 24/7 nurse chat line.
What is included in the Premium plan?
Premium includes everything in Essential, plus nurse-led health monitoring through a compatible Apple Watch. This includes ECG and atrial fibrillation detection, gait and balance monitoring, heart rate tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, respiratory rate tracking, and health trend analysis. One of our Registered Nurses can review your vital signs, discuss your physical and mental well-being, and conduct a comprehensive health assessment. This is optional and can be tailored to suit your preferences. Detailed reports can also be shared with your GP or specialist on request.

Fall detection depends on the Apple Watch model and device settings. Users need a compatible Apple Watch for this feature.
Does crash detection work on Apple Watch and iPhone?
Crash detection is available on compatible Apple Watch and iPhone models. Where supported, severe car crashes can be detected and an alert can be sent to the nurse response team.
How do I speak with a nurse?
There are several ways to reach a nurse with INS LifeGuardian®. You can press 'Get Help' on your device, or use Siri hands-free on your Apple Watch or iPhone by saying 'Hey Siri, help me.' You'll also be connected automatically if a crash or fall is detected on compatible devices.
What happens when I press the help button?
Your alert is sent to INS LifeGuard’s 24/7 Emergency Response Centre, where a qualified nurse can assess the situation, provide support, and coordinate escalation if needed.
