Scope of Work

We want to make sure our clients can quickly access skilled nurses in emergencies, and your ability to do the tasks listed below is very important:

Nurses at INS LifeGuard apply their clinical expertise in our medical monitoring and response centre.
As the first point of contact, nurses conduct telephone triage assessments to provide prompt assistance to clients.
When clients face isolation, distress, or medical emergencies, our nurses respond promptly and with effectiveness to the raised alarms.
Working within a multi-function team, our nurses support a range of medical and emergency-related services 24/7.

Enrolled / Registered Nurse Roles

This position is open to qualified nurses based in Wollongong, New South Wales, possessing the following skills, experience, and qualities:

Accreditation as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
Current First Aid certificate
Experience working in aged care, or home and community care
An understanding of the needs of the aged care community including the importance of the role played by home care and monitoring
A warm and friendly personality, empathy, and the ability to build rapport quickly
A high level of customer focus
The ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships with staff, clients and their significant others, and external service providers
Excellent verbal and written communication including listening skills
The ability to think critically and solve problems using a logical process
Computer literacy
A high level of initiative
Teamwork
Willingness to work a range of shifts including night shift and weekends

My parents both used your system and when my father suddenly passed away at home my mother pressed her pendant and the nurses at INS called emergency services and kept her calm throughout the whole process.
